Talk to me about life, connecting the “in the world” 4C skills to our students, blended learning, cool learning tech, equity, and the need to find solutions to the ongoing problem of institutionalized “deficit mindsets” that negatively have impacted the students we serve. The traditional institution of schools reinforce the conditions whereby underserved students stay underserved UNTIL coming to us....then they are served. We fertilize and grow these roses that grew from concrete. We need to start talking, connecting, and having those courageous conversations w/ leadership and the decision-makers. This status-quo stuff is for...the ....birds.
