Gaming as a Learning Platform: Minecraft in the Classroom

Many parents and educators are well aware of the hold the game Minecraft has on their kids. Together we will explore the elements of this game, why it is so engaging, and how it is being used in schools with great success. Whether you want to understand it better as a parent and/or educator, or whether you’re considering integrating Minecraft in your classes, come demystify the game and score some geek cred with your kids. You will come away with resources and further reading and video content you will thoroughly enjoy.
