Hello,
My name is Michael Garcia and I currently teach middle school STEM. I have experience in various grade levels and previously taught in a 4th grade, self-contained class. Implementing technology into my classroom has always been a priority of mine to ensure my students are college and career ready while also promoting 21st century skills.
Teaching and being a positive role model for my students and in my community is a passion of mine. This is why I have chosen to present on "Genius Hour." Genius Hour promotes intrinsic motivation by allowing voice and choice in the 20% time project made famous by Google.
