Christy has been a public school educator for 16 years. Previously, she trained teachers on how to integrate and use technology tools at San Francisco State University. She also created and taught several blended learning technology elective courses for 6-8th graders. She currently works as a specialist for Pacifica School District, assisting with the development of innovative learning practices, implementation of makerspaces, and supporting the integration of computer science and technology tools in the K-8 classroom. She has presented around the Bay Area, at CUE Napa and is a board member of the CUE San Francisco Chapter. Connect with her at @christypnovack
